The Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich welcomes contributions from anyone within the ETH Zurich community.
Our aim is to engage a broad audience — especially citizens, industry professionals, and policymakers — who are interested in energy topics but don’t typically read academic papers. Articles are written in English to reach an international audience; German translations are handled automatically. If you do not feel comfortable writing in English, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
To contribute, send a brief proposal (max. 150 words). If accepted, you’ll be invited to submit a full draft. The process from proposal to publication typically takes 4–8 weeks.
We encourage creativity, clarity, and inclusivity in contributions. Authors retain responsibility for accuracy and image rights. Content must be original, respectful, and non-commercial, and will be published under a Creative Commons BY-NC license.
The Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich is hosted by the Energy Science Center (ESC), an interdepartmental competence center at ETH Zurich.
